Introducing Preventative Maintenance (P.M.)

N.C. RV Solutions is committed to serving the R.V. public by performing Preventative Maintenance ("P.M.") tasks for its customers. Everyone knows that their automobile needs oil changes, tires, wiper blades, etc. However, most people think that since they don't use their R.V. that often, it doesn't require a lot of attention. I'll give you the most classic example. The wheel bearings. Since they don't get used much, they spend most of their lives going through daily and seasonal temperature changes. They fill up with condensation, and the grease becomes weakened, and the bearings rust. I can tell you from experience; it takes about 5 fire extinguishers to put out an axle fire! Besides something this detrimental, everything in your R.V. needs exercised on a regular basis. Particularly things like the Air Conditioner, the slide out, or anything mechanical.  Tires are a huge deal.  They'll last almost forever if treated with uv protector/rubber softner.  Most peoples tires dry rot in 3 to 5 years without proper care, the same for rubber roofs.
Just as important as safety and un-interrupted camping, your R.V. is an Asset. Getting your money's worth during your ownership and getting a decent return on selling typically only happens if your unit is well taken care of. I can't tell you how many beautiful interiors I've seen ruined by a roof leak. Spending 3 to 4 hundred dollars on your roof every 5 years or so, makes the difference of possibly losing 4 or 5 thousand, or more.
Besides R.V.'s and campers, I've spent 20 years as a licensed aircraft mechanic. I know how to spot things that could be of danger, could cause minor disruptions later, or could be important money saving issues worth fixing now.

For customers who purchase an Annual p.m. for their R.V./ trailer, I discount my labor rate for any discrepancies.  My normal labor rate for actual repairs is $60.00 per hour. For Customers that are on a "P.M."  program, I charge $50.00 per hour for any other time that you might need me.   Please drop me a note to get a quote based on your specific equipment.  The average trailer/RV costs $175.00 to $400.00 annually dependant on P.M. program.
